Truffle cultivation services

Polskie Trufle is involved at every stage of the project, from physical and chemical soil testing to selecting truffles and symbiotic plants for cultivation.

In addition, we provide detailed in-depth advice on preliminary soil preparation, planting techniques, necessary materials, possible irrigation systems, fencing, and crop care in the years following the creation of the plantation.

We are also available to work with you to prevent the occurrence of seedling dieback, low mycorrhizal levels in roots, diseases and damage to plants and truffles.

Our mycorrhizated seedlings

The Polskie Trufle company grows truffle species that have demonstrated the highest production efficiency and resistance to weather conditions in Poland:

  • Hazelnut (common hazel – Corylus avellana L. Barcelona variety Cosford);
  • Pedunculate oak (Quercus robur);
  • Common hornbeam (Carpinus betulus);
  • Common beech (Fagus sylvatica L.);
  • Small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata Mill.).

All these plants are mycorrhizated, as are the following types of truffles:

  • Summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt. var. uncinatum);
  • Black spore truffle (Tuber melanosporum Vitt.);
  • Smooth black truffle (Tuber macrosporum Vitt.).
